CIRRUS ASSISTED LIVING
Purpose
Cirrus Assisted Living is a facility designed to provide a safe place for individuals affected with serious mental illness who require supported housing. The facility provides an opportunity for residents to live in a place that allows them freedom and responsibility yet is a protected environment. The Assisted Living Facility (ALF) offers individuals the ability to interact with others or have the privacy they may desire.
ALF provides the following:
- Meals Persons who live in ALF are entitled to three meals per day. Seven days a week as part of the services they receive. Snack items are also available each evening for residents.
- Activities ALF has regularly scheduled afternoon activities.
- Socials - The facility conducts planned and impromptu socials.
- Medication monitoring is available if needed.
- Transportation is provided for Residents to scheduled Doctor Appointments, grocery shopping and shopping for personal items. These trips are scheduled.
- Furnished Apartments All Assisted Living apartments are completely furnished. You may provide your own furnishings as long as they pose no safety hazard and fit into the apartment.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
You may be eligible for CIRRUS HOUSE HOUSING if:
you are 19 or older
you are experiencing a serious and persistent mental illness
you meet income limits
you are not currently violent, using illegal drugs and/or abusing alcohol
Do you have to become a Member to get services or housing? No, you dont, but non-member services will be limited in time and scope.
